Festival Footwear Guide

Whether you’re a Coachella chicka, a Parklife princess or a Summadayze sista, we all know that the key to enjoying yourself at a big festival is your footwear.

Between the long queues, the hours of dancing and the often questionable landscape, it can be treacherous territory selecting the right creepers to last the long day.  So dear Sirens, I’ve taken the guess work out of it for you and supplied you with a handy festival shoe guide:

If you’re a sophisticated Siren who has planned a civilised day of dancing followed by a night on the town, then this is the shoe for you.

The Boosh, with its chunky metal detailing, is the perfect transition sandal to take you from festival to dinner date!  Wear with a sheer mullet dress and excess bling to show off your sparkle in the sunlight.

If you’ve got your girl crew together, you’ve memorised your favourite lyrics and you’ve been practising you’re dance moves for days, then the Sloan leo is the pick for you.   This ballsy ballerina has just the right amount of comfort, style and support and the leopard hair will see you prancing like a pony till the wee hours.  Wear with a clashing printed onesie and a wide-brim hat.

If you’re the kind of Siren that bought an early bird ticket and has had your set-list mapped for weeks then you’re probably going to want to wear the Bronte.

This slouch riding boot will take you from moshpit to backstage, see you crowd surfing and have you happily stomping home at the end of the day, without a mark on them. Can’t you just imagine K-Mossy rocking these at Coachella: ripped denim cut-offs, oversize sunnies and entourage in tow?

If you’re like me, and you’re probably more interested in the Fashion than the music (not that you would ever admit it!), then you’ll likely want to pick yourself up a pair of Carlys’.  This on-trend studded ankle boot has just the right amount of heel height to make sure you can see the stage over the crowds, but still comfortable enough to last the long day.  Wear with a skater skirt and bucket of ‘tude.

Until next time!

A xx
