Blogger style

Fabulous destinations, photographer boyfriends and killer wardrobes- it’s no news that bloggers are the new fashion it-girls. A place once reserved for editors and offspring of has-been rockers.

But what sets apart your average blog from the powerhouses? The latter show us what we want before we even realize we want it. And have us mentally preparing shopping lists for days after we get lost in the the digital version of their glamorous lives.

And since many of them seem to live in a world of eternal sunshine, they’re our go-to source to pick out the trends we’ll be wearing this summer.

Living out of suitcases can be tough, so bloggers are all about versatility- taking outfits from day to night, and back again.

Apply the same rule and pair that party dress you only wore once with flat black sandals like Jess Stein from Tuula Vintagefor a whole new outfit you can wear on a lunch date.

We can’t all pack up and move to NYC like Carolina from Fashion Squad, but we can take a leaf out of her book when it comes to shoes.

Even the most dedicated fashion lover needs to be office appropriate at times, but that doesn’t mean you have to leave your best shoes for the weekend.

Our favourite bloggers have been adding a little flare to their pencil skirts and knits in sky-high metallic pumps .

But then there any many who are opting for a minimal, monotone look; everywhere but their feet, that is.

Add a pop of colour and detail to a simple outfit with a statement shoe, like our Kristabelle heels.

Cut-outs, tassles, bright colour- the only limit is your imagination.

Nothing screams ‘blogger-cred’ like a pair of high, black strappy sandals.

Whether it’s with teamed with requisite loose pants or boyfriend jeans, leather skinnies, skorts or their favourite LBDs, black sandals are the investment shoe you’ll be able to wear for seasons to come.

Consider them your new wardrobe staple.

Need some more spring shoe trend inspo?

It’s time to hit the blogs.

Just tell the boss it’s all in the name of research.
